Detect keypresses outside of Form

Hello! I felt like making a program that plays a sound everytime I press a key on my keyboard (A typewriter kind-of sound)
I have everything done, I can detect and play sounds when Im inside the form. But not outside, and believe me; I've been Googeling this like a mad man!
I read a few things with keyhooks and such, but I don't think it's necessary cause I just want to detect all keys, not a special one(s).

Anyone got any good tips on whare to keep on searching?
