VS 2008 Cannot change target CPU - can you try this example?

Hello,

I am using VS2008 Professional and often change the target cpu to x86. When I click to create a new project for a smart device and select framework 2.0 I then go into the project properties and try to change this and my only option is any cpu. Why is this? I need it for x86 so I can use SQL Compact 3.5 with it on as windows ce 5.0 device. Can someone try on their end and tell me if that is what they get? Do I have to change to VS2005 for this?
