Simple Coding help; Maths Quiz driller (speed arithmetic)

Hi I am just writing some code for the first time since high school,

And I wondering if someone would help me piece it together and optimise my coding.

I want to basically build some simple quiz/"question driller" code which initially to practise maths (user will be my child!!) and then maybe go on to use it for other things as well.

I'd like to program to:

a) loop X amount of questions
b) capture the speed of answer for each response
c) provide results on response and possibly store them in Excel or something which would be really neat!!!

I'm writing over the next few days and appreciate any help that can be provided. Will update first draft soon!!! (sorry if english bad, its not my first language)
